I have been lucky enough to be able to work with Noel Leeming for over 15 years now! Noel Leeming was my first job where I started off as a weekend sales person over Christmas and worked up through different roles in store then transitioned into a Regional Manager role. Fast forward and I am now the Continuous Improvement Lead for Noel Leeming.
Day in the Life
My team and I form one half of the Central Operations team and we get the privilege of understanding all the different functional areas of Noel Leeming and how we can improve our speed to execution, while also delivering some pretty incredible improvements across the business. This has allowed me to make some incredible partnerships across Merchandise, Marketing, Commercial and Finance and deliver meaningful work that makes a difference in their day to day lives.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Personally, the best part of my role is the ability to wake up every day and make meaningful improvements across the board, with no two days being the same. We hold a significant amount of IP across the entire brand, and as such are not limited to the solutions we create and in turn seeing those visions come to life is special to me.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to do what you do?
Continuous improvement is an amazing area to work within, and relies on being able to form partnerships with multiple people and areas, and understanding that those partnerships around you will deliver more ideas, inspiration and information than you will ever deliver on your own. Great business is built on great partnerships, and if you always focus on your customer, you'll never be short of ideas to improve on.
Why do you love working with The Warehouse Group?
People make a difference and we have some amazing people in the group. I'm also proud to work for a brand like Noel Leeming who constantly have an appetite to make improvements across the spectrum, whether that be internal or external facing.
What is your favourite TWG benefit?
