Career Snapshot
I started off in store in 2014, as a Red Shirt in School and was lucky enough to be hired as a team member at the Glenfield Store. I then got promoted to be the Checkout Supervisor where I was responsible for the day to day running of the service areas instore. This included coaching checkout operators, reviewing KPIs, ensuing customers had great service.
I then moved to the Store Support office with roles in Merchandise and Operations.
I am now the Activity and Communications Lead, our team helps out stores get the right information through Store Communications, understanding what they need to do through our Store Workload Calendar – we are like the air traffic control for our stores.
What is your favourite part of your job?
I really like the ability to be able to make things better and simpler for stores. Ensuring that they feel supported in their day to day roles.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to do what you do?
