Job Description
We are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic, reliable, happy to get “stuck in” and see a job through from start to finish. Based in our Rolleston Distribution Centre, you will be working alongside a team that is dedicated to delivering product correctly to our customer while achieving great productivity rates.
We are looking for someone that can keep up with our fast-paced environment. This busy role could offer you a variety of tasks, including:
- Using a RF scanner and Warehouse Management System
- Checking incoming orders
- Picking, packing, and dispatching products for customer orders
- Sorting product onto store pallets in a timely manner
- Loading cartons onto conveyor belt
- Devanning containers and unloading cartons (1kg–20kg)
- Sorting stock by barcode
- Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping machines
- Bulk picking and stock management
- Jumping in where needed to support the team and get the job done
- Health and safety - actively promoting safe work practices and ensuring a safe work environment is maintained at all times.
40 hour week; Monday to Friday. Preferred shift time 7.30am-4pm.
Qualifications
- Enjoy being part of a team
- Problem solving and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use initiative and work independently
- Distribution/Warehouse experience is desirable
- MHE experience is desirable but not essential, as this job could grow into one that also involves driving various forklift type machinery
