Due to parental leave in the team, we're seeking a curious and commercially minded Insights Specialist to join us! You’ll help ensure customer insights are accessible, relevant and embedded into our business decisions, ultimately earning and growing customer loyalty.

Job Description
Sitting within our Omni function, and reporting into the Customer Insights Lead, you will promote customer-first thinking through the delivery of The Warehouse Group's customer, brand and market insight program. The role helps uncover, interpret and communicate insights that improve customer understanding and support better decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities will see you:
- Support the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research programs, including Voice of Customer, brand tracking, communications testing, segmentation and ad hoc studies.
- Assist with survey design, sampling, analysis and reporting to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Coordinate with external research agencies and partners.
- Organise and facilitate customer connects including focus groups, shop-alongs and customer interviews.
- Analyse customer, market and research data to identify behaviours, motivations and emerging trends.
- Bring together research findings, VoC results, analytics &commercial data into clear and actionable narratives.
- Develop reports, presentations and dashboards to help stakeholders understand customer needs & opportunities.
You will work across Brand, Loyalty, Digital, Merchandise and Operations teams to partner with them to understand business challenges and research requirements, and to ensure customer understanding is embedded into campaigns, propositions and experiences.
Qualifications
You’re passionate about data, the facts and uncovering customer insights. You bring strong technical capability, balanced with the ability to story tell, influence, collaborate and build great relationships across stakeholders and partners.
Our wish list includes:
- 3+ years' experience in customer insights, market research or analytics.
- Proven experience leading quantitative and qualitative research programs
- Strong capability in survey design, qualitative methods, analysis, and insight synthesis.
- Proficiency with research and analysis tools (Qualtrics, Q, Excel).
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen; ability to link insights to outcomes.
