MEET THE TEAM

Meet Gina...
How does TWG support inclusion & equality.
TWG have and continue to support women by giving us opportunities in the way of training and coaching around Women in Leadership. One of the courses I participated in a few years ago, Aspire Women in Leadership, really set me up for success in my role and taught me alot about myself and the way I want to lead. You don't find this support in every company which is why I am still here after 18 years.
What are your highlights and pivotal moments.
I have been with the business almost 18 years. I started in the storeroom initially and I am now the Store Manager of the Rotorua store. At the end of my first year managing the store, Rotorua was the top store in the country - this was definitely one of my biggest highlights. I was also awarded the prestigious 'Craig Bull' award for outstanding leadership and contribution to the NLG business. Without amazing leaders, this would not have happened!
Describe the culture and environment at TWG.
I love the culture that exists within our store and this can only happen with the support from the business. We are a very diverse business who accepts people from all walks of life. The best part of my role is the people. My team, both in store and the wider group.
Words of Wisdom.
Always know that the role that you are in today is your interview for what you do next. What I mean is be the best you can be in the role you have. It may not be the one you want right now but learn, grow, lead by example and these things will get you anywhere you need to go. Take the opportunity that has been given to you.
