Customer Engagement Coordinator

Customer Lifecycle Marketing plays hugely into the future of marketing.  In the last year, here at The Warehouse Group (or TWG as we say) we have made huge strides in this space but we have an appetite to do much more.  Which is why we need you – our new Customer Engagement Coordinator, to act as a customer advocate passionate about executing a world-class online experience

The role:

This role centres on delivering all customer lifecycle behaviours for two of our brands – Noel Leeming and Torpedo7.  Translated another way -  Reach the right consumer at the right moment with the right message, ranging from email marketing to trigger-based communications across all channels.

You‘ll be working with teams across the business to deliver automated marketing campaigns to drive customer retention and growth. Through identifying opportunities in the data and learning how to bring those to life through marketing technology you’ll create and deliver great experiences for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Execution of Customer Lifecycle Marketing activity - Ownership of key drivers to increase basket building, customer engagement and retention across all inbound marketing channels. Work with Brand and User Planner teams to create automated customer journeys.

  • Data driven decision making -  Comfort in working with the data to find ways to solve problems and monitor performance of in-market campaigns.  

  • Campaign delivery – Provide input to marketing briefs, collaborate with creative team to develop creative assets, partner with technical teams for engagement campaigns, and work with media team to secure, execute and measure performance of media placements.


About you:

Your curiosity around technology, creative flair and your excellent stakeholder management skills will see you quickly build credibility (and visibility) with the business, along with impressing them with your proactive approach.  Your organisational skills and attention to detail will also be well tested in the role.  Making an impact drives you.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in related Marketing roles, or a recent graduate with some work experience
  • Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Economics or related discipline
  • Experience with CRM and marketing technology (Salesforce suite would be a bonus)
  • Thrive on fast pace
