HR Advisor (Business Service Partner)

The retail world is changing and the need to be responsive is more important than ever when it comes to servicing the human resources needs across all our brands. At the heart of this transformation is the HR Service Team and, taking a lead role as the first point of contact for the business, the HR Service Partners. This is an HR Advisor level position and we're searching for an individual with a passion to develop a career within the profession.

The Role:

  • You'll be the first point of contact for all human resources related queries for all brands across The Warehouse Group.
  • Providing excellent service to our teams and managers to help achieve strategic business goals. You'll also upskill managers through your interactions so they're able to provide strong support for their teams.
  • Work in close partnership with payroll, employment relations, business partners and the administration team to resolve day to day as well as more complex ER issues
  • Promptly identifying any people risks and evaluate the correct course of action, including escalation to the appropriate manager where required.
  • Understand the implications of current employment legislation in New Zealand that govern the way we work at The Warehouse Group.

You'll be:

  • A passionate human resource professional with some experience as an HR Advisor
  • A real team player with a sense of humour, and able to work as part of a collaborative, supportive team
  • Happy to work in a changing environment and willing to make suggestions on how we can improve how we work
  • Above all else you'll be positive, have a great attitude and be ready to develop your career within human resources.

The role works fixed hours of the day between 8am – 5pm, and you’ll be answering phone and email queries from all levels of the business. We've got an awesome North Shore location with views across the Waitemata Harbour, plenty of free parking and free charging stations for EV’s, and an onsite café.
