The Warehouse Group (TWG) is a New Zealand success story, founded by Sir Stephen Tindall and grown from The Warehouse; we are the largest general merchandise retailer in NZ with $3 billion in sales. TWG consists of four core retail brands – The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming and Torpedo7. We have 270+ retail stores, online stores as well as distribution and fulfilment centres throughout NZ. TWG employs over 12,000 people across New Zealand.
Reporting into the National Property Manager, your role will centre on the property management services for The Warehouse stores and the Eldamos property portfolio, including tenancies and land holdings. This will see you manage anything and everything from lease renewals, rent reviews, ensuring all legal and compliance obligations contained within lease documents are met, providing financial input for preparation of annual property budgets for rent and occupancy costs, right through to maintaining accurate property files. We will welcome your knack for continuous improvement as we are always looking for ways to improve business processes and implement cost reduction strategies.
This role centres on relationships. You will be working closely with several internal stakeholders: Finance, Operations, Store teams, Legal, Development Managers, Facilities Managers through to landlords and valuers (to name a few). So, we will rely on your top-notch communication skills and ability to educate, influence and negotiate on a daily basis.
If you love working with people and being in a dynamic workplace where every day brings fresh challenges, then we would love to hear from you. When you join us you also get discounts across all our brands, great team member benefits, and excellent career development opportunities no matter where you are in the business!
