We have an outstanding opportunity for a Department Manager to join our Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery Fulfilment Centre based in the North Island Fulfilment Centre. We are looking for someone with experience leading a large team within a busy distribution centre environment as you will need the skills to ensure data integrity through continuous planning, organising, change management and direction.

This is a crucial role which is responsible for managing operational delivery, continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring health and safety compliance, delivering loss prevention and sustainability initiatives and liaising with key stakeholders across the business.

We are looking for a passionate leader, who is confident leading a large team of up to 90 people with 2 direct reports and can balance the needs of the business against the needs of the people.  You will provide regular useful feedback and coaching in order to support team member development to help them to succeed.

Supply chain/logistics experience is crucial and experience leading within the operations area of a similar size or complexity is a must. Intermediate computer skills are required for the role and a Logistics diploma or similar qualification is desirable. This role will report to the Operations Manager, however, we live in a matrix environment so you will also be working closely with our other TWG Brands, external suppliers, and merchandise teams.

This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level in one of New Zealand's largest retailers with a sophisticated distribution and supply network. As always, we're proud of developing our people and opportunities exist to take this role further for the ambitious candidate.
