We are looking for a new Purchasing Administrator to join our Hamilton based team.
Purchasing Administrators help make the Torpedo7 world go around - looking after that all important function that processes purchase orders with suppliers and getting our gear landed in store and at our warehouse – ensuring Torpedo7 house brand products are the best they can be!
Ideally we are looking for someone who is familiar with the purchasing process or at least a very fast learner. This role is dynamic and you will be right across most of Torpedo7 business functions – from finance to logistics, the merchandise team and the distribution centre. For this reason you will need to be an excellent communicator to ensure all the right people are in the loop and keep the wider team up to date of any changes or developments around purchase orders and factory deliveries.
Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail are also a desired attribute in this role, as you will be reconciling orders and invoices, as well as running and reconciling reports. Your day to day tasks will require great structure and be awesome at prioritising. You will need to be able to work independently, have great time and record-keeping and demonstrate excellent planning skills.
